024/026 chain adjuster swap

Without trying it myself, I have both front and side adjusters and can't find a replacement front adjuster.Is it true that it is a direct swap with the exception of drilling the clutchcover for the screw head?Front adjust to side adjust.

No, it won't work like that. The swap your thinking of is putting a front adj. bar cover on a side adj. saw. Then its just drilling the hole. If you have both saws it should be easy to see the difference. I got a new front adj. screw from my dealer for a couple bucks.

What all do you need? Just the screw and pin?

10-4 Shawn,pin and screw, any p/n that will interchange between saws?

adjuster screw pn 9043 319 8100 also on 09,10,12,24,34 models

nut/pin pn 1120 664 1500 same models as above plus others

guide/ plastic block pn 1121 664 2800 found on 24,28,34 models

This is just from searching ipl's so check numbers with dealer
