There are 2 different fuel lines buddy.

Take a gander in your tank and see if the line is straight or "S" shaped. The older 026 had a straight fuel line. Newer and MS260 an S shaped one with is heavier and much easier to change a filter on.

You can convert your tank to the more readily available new/better style by drilling the tank opening for the line with a .375 diameter drill. Drill a piece of scrap first and double check the line grommet fits well first. The lines won't interchange between the different tanks without modification.

Thanks so much!

Well, I went outside to play chainsaw today and found that the front lower was shredded in two. The rear lower looks rough. I'm not even sure how many there are on the saw lol! I'm so new to this...

I guess the biggest factor is price.

I found the following:

One upper buffer loose with no packaging, thus no part number (should be either 1121 790 9901 or 9902)
One 1121 790 9912
Two 1121 790 9909

Each of the three retail new individually for either $9.49 & $9.99. How about $10 total for one of each?

That's also a deal. Why do you have to be so difficult to deal with? Lol... sarcasm. I appreciate it.

What else will I need? Gas cap perhaps? I do need new bar nuts for sure.

Uhh...outer felling dog?

Alright, so bar nuts as well. I'll give it one more look tomorrow in daylight, and then we'll settle out my tab.
