041AV Pump Drive Shaft Question...

Hi all,
I am in the process of reinstalling the pump on the above saw, has anyone any idea which way the bevel on the shaft should face when I push it back in. I am enclosing a picture of the drive shaft, I am saying that the pic is showing bevel up!
