You can fit a newer bolt on type exhaust barrel onto the older MS 880's (clip on type exhaust) with some modification to the exhaust, threaded rod, locked nuts, make some new lower exhaust brackets, spring washers, aluminium wedges, retaining washer, gasket paper, a little porting and clean up to line muffler up with the new barrel... etc.
A bit busy looking but does the trick!
It did rattle itself to pieces a few times before I got it right.
