anybody ever ported one of these bad boys. have one sitting on my table with new piston and rings to throw in was only running 110 psi. this is going into a 56inch alaskan so i know not goin crazy just need dependable power and would like to make sure she pulls it well. exhaust port looks extremely limited and constrictive? any ideas on best way to procede. was going to just open them out to about 1/8 less then width of the piston skirt. anybody got any input? iv never done one of these and anything would be apreciated

Why don't you ever take any pics after the porting? Two saws ported, pics of both before and pics after the saw is reassembled.

I got a saw once, that the owner "ported". It looked like he had worked it over with a post hole digger on the inside. There's usually a reason people don't want you to see what they've done. ;)
