1994 f800 bucket truck fuel solonoid

Hey guys I have a 94 f800 hi-ranger with air brakes that has a 8.3 cummins diesel in it I think. The fuel shut off solenoid will let it start for just a second then it will shut off by itself. Anybody ever had this happen? I would like to find a schematic on the electrical if someone has one, I think a sensor or pressure switch might be the problem but I have no clue where to start looking. Thanks much

The solenoid has a pull to start and a hold coil. If the Hold coil is bad it will do just as stated. Should be relays in the circuit to actuate the coils.

Turn key on, pull the solenoid by hand. Have had this happen to 2 8.3Ls. The solenoid is around 100-150 depending on which model.

I took off solenoid and it is fine,pulls in on the big center white wire and stays in on the red wire when I throw 12v at it. Must be a wire or relay.anybody know where the relays might be hiding,I cant find em.Thanks

I was never able to find the relay so I ran a wire form ignition to the holding side of solenoid and it works fine now . Thanks for the help

Relays should be on the fire wall in the engine compartment, likely buried in a wire loom.
