    7900 first day on the job.2 85 foot poplars.that saw just eats the softwood.

    Rumor has it that might be an o.k. firewood saw. We are having a GTG in Grantsburg,possibly, if you are anywhere close.

    i thought it was for limbing only.i bought it to replace my 200t :chainsaw: i will have to try firewood. 204 miles away:cry: when would it possibly be?

    GTG will prolly be nov 10th. Seriously, I'm glad you like the 7900. My bro (grandpatractor) has one with a 28 inch bar. I have the 7300 with a 24 inch bar . Feels more like a dirt bike motor. No complaints, but I will be updating the air cleaner cover.
