Aftermarket Stihl MS311 Cylinder?

Does anyone know of a company that makes an aftermarket cylinder for a MS311? Pistons I can find but no joy finding a cylinder.

I don't know of anything either. It's a fairly new saw and the aftermarket hasn't caught up yet.

At least put a 391 top end on that saw, the power to weight ratio still will be really bad, but at least a bit better!

That is a good point. I can do that or just wait till the aftermarket catches up.

Aftermarket cylinders seldom is a good idea regarding performance, unless the are properly "massaged" (ported).

I hear ya on that. But I have been pretty lucky. I had a MS290 that I put a Laser piston and cylinder in and then gave it to a friend of mine who has a small tree company to torture test for me. 2 years now and still running strong. The 311 may only need a piston I will not know until I tear into it. Thanks
