I have an acquaintance that has a (large) Walnut. He is actually in Fairfield KY, but that is a dot on the map between the three towns.
I have not seen it, but when asked he said "it is not quite 36" so I am guessing a 30" maybe trunk. He said there a re two straight 10' sections.
He is interested in selling it, or giving it away to someone that will mill and give him enough milled lumber for a gun cabinet. Figured if there is a someone near him w/ a portable mill, it may be a worthy endeavor.
As I said I have not seen it, but I can probably help with the felling tasks if needed.
