Not that I am aware of. I have even used it on those old fuel tank halves on those older reed valve saws, also have used it on the
newer problematic "peeing" Zama carbs on stihl blowers and trimmers......
 
I've had no issues with Yamabond4 - I understand it is made by threebond and is the same as Hondabond. It has worked well for me. $10 at a shop near my home.
 
I use the yellow folders cut the shape of the gasket. They run from 3-5 thou. If you plan on taking the saw back apart to do more work on it this works great, less mess to clean up. If it not coming apart again I use 518.
