I am in process of restoring this saw and was thinking about milling with it. I can get a 32 inch bar and chain is that to much for this saw ? Comments or suggestions . Thanks

Howdy,

More and more parts are becoming obsolete for that model. If it's in decent shape, it'll have no problem with a 32" bar.

Regards
Gregg

Thanks for the reply . I have been able so far to find parts but I am sure that like everything else in life it will be temporary.

I think the concern is that if you burn it up milling, it'll be difficult to fix. Using something else for milling would keep that echo in service for many years to come.

I understand and have decided to look for a newer saw for milling or maybe looking at a bandsaw mill. Thanks for the reply.
