I finally got my setup working to pressure test.

I'm still trouble shooting an erratic idle and was wondering when i pressure test the carb. should it hold pressure indefinitely because mine slowly leaks down but I'm still not sure if it is the carb or the setup that is leaking.

and can anyone tell me how old my saw is before i sink more money into it
    the s/n is 225361152

    thanks

what do you guys use for a check valve.

i just tested my setup and it appears to be a leak in the set up not the carb. I thought the check valve in the bicycle pump would be good enough but I guess it doesn't work very well at the low pressures required in these tests

    thanks

stick a ball or plug valve in the line. Pump it up or down and shut off the ball valve to take the pump out of the circuit then.
