Check out my 372XP dogs! Feedback welcomed!

Hey guys,
I posted a thread awhile back about machined dogs and since then I've decided to make a set for my cousin who has a husky 372 xp. I've been working on my design in cad and here's what I've come up with. I extended the dogs height a bit and also added a tooth over the factory design. I'm going to machine him a set from 3/16 thick stainless.

l ain't got a 372 and still want a set. How are you cutting them? Will they end up looking as sleek as the design pic?

I have a cnc milling machine so they'll look just like that yes. I'm going to make the set for my cousin in the next week or so and I'll post some pictures of the results.

Yes good call on that, I was actually planning on putting a counterbore for the nuts to sit in depending on how it works out. I don't have the saw here right now so I'm not sure if its needed or not.

Even though you're using 0.1875" stainless, be cautious as to how much material you hog out in the webbing.

Is that SolidWorks?

nope, I use an autodesk product, Fusion 360

And all finished... it took MONTHS of design to get it just how I wanted it, and there's still things I'd do differently.

When you have the spikes that far down it causes problem bogging the saw down. Someone else had a thread about that.
