....So I got my new coils in and I have spark and now she runs, but now that she's running, I seem to have a gear oil leak from behind the sprocket. I looked thru the IPL for this transmission and it does not show a seal? It just shows the ball bearing and the plate? How can there not be a seal in there?

I have no idea, but maybe bumping this to page one will get some responses from the (few) guys with experience working on the DA-211.

It's been too long since I was in mine. Tear it apart and find out

Quite possibly the ball bearing is seal or shield on the one side?

Or, just fill with gear oil before using. What I do with a gear drive Remy.

....So I did finally speak to a guy and in fact there is no seal for it, its just a shielded bearing on one side....and Napa carries the bearing!!
