A comparison of two foot long bars showed cannon to be 1st or second in most of cmparisons such as heat in a varity of areas. May indicate better acuracy in machining groove n shoulder. Lower heat does equal less friction. All three of my long bars are cannon because they are very much stiffer than s###l (-;
