Working on getting this one back together and need some help figuring out how to route the throttle cable so it doesn't bind. Anyone that's had one of these apart before maybe can give me an idea? Here is a picture of the cable below. The cable is too long to just slide it back in and seems to pinch when I put a 1/2 loop in it.

    Thanks in advance.

Thank you for the response. I think I see what you mean. Feed in the excess and loop it under to carb if it will fit. I'll have to give it a go or try to.

Looking on a list, that comes up either Ryobi or MTD...wonder what model you have...man I remember a thread here but not the details, some 55 cc craftsman. Hmmm.

I *really* don't knowq, I saw one that I think was like that one on CL before. I *think* there may be a discussion buried in the poulan thread someplace....

Here is a previous thread with your model, and not much help, but..all I could find..they are an off the wall saw, apparently recalled at some point because of emissions, made in Taiwan by Jenn Feng and rebadged or whatever. That might help you get going and maybe find some better schematics or maybe pictures or something

If that throttle cable is too long, maybe the throttle plate attachement hole got flipped around somehow (long shot). Maybe it is on the wrong side of the idle speed stop screw?

I'd keep trying different loops and angles on that, it came off, must go back on....I know you know that....

Good question. I will have to call a cust service # or something. Maybe I can find the IPL for this one and see if the part#s cross reference.
