My gf hitched a right the other day on a big plane in the sky and ended up in Seattle, and is spending the week north of Bellingham(i think that is right-2 hours or so north of Seattle) who all is from that area?

is there any logging shops in the area i can convince her into going to and picking me something up?

Bellingham is about an hour and a half from me.

There is a VERY good saw shop in Sedro Wooley (about 45 minutes to 1 hour south of Bellingham, 15 minutes from Burlington) called Woods Logging Supply. They sell Husky and Stihl.

    It's Gary's favorite place.

ok..so i gotta ask..we don't have shops like that around here(loggers are just about extinct) so do they have just about any part amaginable for a chainsaw and all the accessories a logger could want??? reels of chain, grinders, tree jacks and the works????

I'm drooling just thinking about it!!

btw...whats the price of land out there?!?!?

Hmm, not sure about tree jacks. But yes, Woods has A LOT of stuff.

You would have thought you died and gone to heaven in that place.

Full Stihl line, rack of Husky saws, all sorts of logging equipment, boots, clothing, etc etc.

After all, Woods might hold the record - their stores sold over 400k feet of chain in 1 year - all that Mt. St. Helens wood really ate up the chains.

The shop doesn't have door handles though.

They are axes actually set into the doors!

You could reopen the store they closed that was a 20 minute drive from here.
Except you'll have to find a different building. Some weird kind of business finally leased the building. And please be open at least until 5pm and at least a half of a Saturday. And carry boots in size 6 mens. Popcorn is a nice touch along with a clean restroom. Those are my demands. :)

    We're located closer to Oregon.

Woods is my new favorite saw shop. Very nice & helpful people there plus it's only 20 minutes from my house.

DON'T BE MAKIN' FUN OF DA FEETS!:buttkick:
If she goes to Madsen's she can buy you a pink Skullbucket off the rack. What a cheery thought!:) Their competitor is nearby and she should go there and ask the young guy about his tattoo. They have free popcorn. :) I think Madsen's does also.
