Nice! I bought an aluminum one from northern last year. What a pos! It got all bent up the 2nd day I went to use it.

Great design! Paint it bring orange so you don't loose it when you set it down.

I made mine with a long tube down to the hook point also, and found it gets rolled under a 14" log and then I can't release the hook without rolling it back.

I also didn't make my point sharp enough, but that's not as big an issue.
