How to identify wood types

Oh yea, that makes sense. I don't know about toxins being shed as the bark falls off though. The thing is these toxins once in the transport system, cant work their way out to the bark, i thought as another of wood was added another dies. The tree is unable to break down toxins but is able to store them in dead cells.

I will agree, there is no way a wash can remove toxins completely. I should look into it a bit more a
