I've got a 288 that I want to play with. Tighten up the squish and a hot woods port. Anyone have some good numbers and pics? Thought about a 066 piston but changed my mind on it, will machine the cyl and maybe dome the piston if needed. Just starting on this one and open for ideas. Mostly a play saw.

I'd be interested in knowing some easy things to do to my 88 also, I think my 372 will out cut it even though it is completely rebuilt and seems to run decent? A little disappointing for and 88 cc saw of course it has a 36" bar also.

I will be getting my 281 back from randy soon. He put a 288 cylender on it and I can't wait to rip threw some oak with it.

all I know is about 5 years ago I missed out on (by about 5 mins) a 266 and 288 built by MVP, both muffler saws
