I bought an 08 346XP NE off a friend, he bought it new last fall. Is the 2 year warrenty transferable to me? Not that it matters, but he never cut wood with it as his health wouldn't allow it. I would think a dealer would honor the warrenty by the build date on the serial number?

No idea, but assuming you need warranty work and assuming he's your friend, maybe he could take it in to the dealer he bought it from for ya?
