My 262's clutch is worn, new drum and spring helped a with the slipping, I know a 2 shoe from a 55 will work. I was wondering if there are other models that may work from a 357, 460, 455? Anyone using something different with good results.

I don't remember. I'd have to pull the clutch off to see. I think the factory 262xp clutch needed the washer to prevent it from binding up with the clutch drum. I bought an ebay 262xp and this clutch came with it. I did some homework to find out it was a 357/359. Engagement rpm is a couple hundred off.

How is that 359 clutch working out on the 262?

Where did you find the engagement rpm and which way is it off compared to the original?
