This is a great all around saw. The muffler has been ported behind the baffle to increase power and lower cylinder temperature. other than that it is stock. All the features work including the chain brake oil pump, kill switch, and choke. The updated NEW!! O.E.M. carburetor and manifold have been installed. The motor has been pressure/vacuum tested. Then it was put to work in the wood pile and believe me it's a screamer. It will come with a 3/8 bar and chain. Please scroll through and look at the picture carefully. To me "ported" means the intake & exhaust ports have been widened /worked on

Btw stock is just fine- I would edit your original post to reflect that the saw is "stock with a muffler mod"

That makes an improvement and I feel that is all the lowers need.

Bump for a good saw! It's rare we see a 357xp for sale.

As far as ported goes, I'd rather buy one with stock ports than one ported bad.

The only thing I'd do, if this were mine is a base gasket delete, these saws get a good boost from that.
