Husqvarna 372xt auto return switch mod

The Cutter's Edge Jonsered 2171 came with a a rocker type auto return spring. It doesn't look as stock (especially on a Husqvarna) as the OP's, but the funny thing is, I looked up the part number in the Cutter's Edge IPL and it is the same Part Number as the OP's.

I ordered a switch on Monday. It came in yesterday. I installed it today, took less than 30 seconds start to finish. Works perfect. Thank You!! for posting this cool mod!!!!!

Thanks for an awesome thread! As a suggestion, I found Husqvarna Top switch (part number 522 79 82-01) was a direct fit and even has the raised portion directly in the center like the OEM 372 switch where the 223L switch is more like a 70/30 split. Pics to follow

Actually I powdered coated the cases for my 372 in Dormant Copper then dyed the plastics in black

Correct. This a momentary switch...meaning that the switch does not remain in the off position.... kills spark and then returns to the on position
