Sold Husqvarna 550xp - $350 shipped

Looking to sell a Husqvarna 550xp. It starts right up and runs good. Piston looks good, no scoring, some oil staining. Small broken piece next to kill switch, see pictures.

Saw is a little dirty, could use a good cleaning. I did give it a quick wipe down for the pics. Note that the pics make it look shinier and nicer than it is. There are nicks and signs from use, look close at the pics. It needs one bar nut. It is, however, I good overall shape. It's hard to get pics of the piston, with the angle of the exhaust port, but I included the pics I could get.

Looking to get $350 shipped to the lower 48.

It is an autotune. Not sure about strato. It's set up with an 18" 0.325" 0.053" bar and chain now.

I went to check the compression. I don't have the right end for my tester, since it's a small spark plug. I used an adapter, but it doesn't have a schrader valve, so the reading is lower than actual. It read about 125 with the adapter end.

Does anyone have any input about what the reading is with an adapter?

it shouldn't be mush different. check for air like on the tester though

I just went through a 346 OE for a friend. It had low compression about like yours. Took the decomp out and cleaned it good. Now it's at 150.

The adapter adds a lot to the reading. With the piston still showing machine marks compression is going to be fine.
