Husqvarna 550xp bar

My Husky came with a 20" 80 dl .325 setup. All of the catalogs show 78 and 80 link chains for the 20" Husky which is more common? This is my first real saw and Im loving the power it puts down!

I'm used to seeing .325 pitch bars more commonly with 78 DL than 80.

If you get the oregon solid hard nose laser plus I think it is either 80 or 81. At least the medium tip one I have. It might be kind of similar for solid replacement nose bars.

I bought two 78dl chains unknowing it was an 80. It says 80 right on the bar. I was just wondering what the standard was or if one was more common.

on AS it is more common to have a Total,Tsumara, Sugi Hara bar.

Betcha more have Oregons, by a large margin.

78dl is the old number, and 80dl is the newer number (Tsumura lights are 81, Cannon varies with bar model, from 80 to 85).

20" is a lot of bar on any 50cc saw, but it does of course work - just not so nicely.
