Where can you get an electronic ingintion for a 80 ev

I'm not too sure but I think the older JD saws were made by Echo, check on them.

probably cheaper than JD or Echo

What exactly are you looking for? The "E" in 80EV stands for electronic ign. Are you looking for replacement parts for the saw?

Sthilboy is correct that the 80EV is actually a yellow Echo CS-750EVL.

I doubt that the parts are still to be had new from Echo, but if you need the CD ignition module , the part # is 150 601 1203 0 and the iginition coil part # is 150 626 1203 0.

If looking for used the only other model saw that would use the same ign that I can think of is a CS-702EVL. Not a CS-702VL.
