Jonsered 2149T Scorned piston? Rebuild Options?

So I picked up this Jonsered 2149T off CL for $50. He had pulled the fuel line out and said it had been leaking. I got it home and pulled the muffler off and this is what I see....

My wife if picking up a compression tester this afternoon since my STB last fall. Do you think this will hold compression or will I need to rebuild it.

That doesn't look that bad. I'd be tempted to pull the engine apart and go over that scorched area with some really fine sand paper. It looks like carbon scoring to me.

Looks like a keeper. Nice and light.

I did a full dis&ass cleaning on it (without breaking any gaskets) and replaced the fuel lines. It ran like a champ. Luckily there was a new "old stock" cover for it on ebay for $33 (which was missing). The clutch break cover (inside outer cover) was melted and the metal brake was broken. I got both for about $20 on ebay for genuine parts. For around $110 total invested, I feel pretty good about it.
