Just a tip: the sap can be removed easily with dairy butter.

I've found the best "sap" remover to be simply telling them to get a job (works on all but the worst saps.WD40 is the best sap remover i've tried.

I think auto-correct might have got you on that one. Pretty sure you meant goof off.Good off on a rag usually removes the worst sap very easily without discoloration if done quickly and not rubbed hard.
Try it somewhere discrete on the bottom of the saw to check first
