I saw this story and wanted to pass it along. Good to see that some are concerned with preserving the world habitat.

Wow, that was a long time a coming. Should have happened 10 years ago. That amount of cash will only last for a short time I am assuming.

Funny how some rules in some parts of the world become the opposite in others. I was always told to "Keep the damn livestock outa the forest" if you want sound, disease-free multi-aged and sustainable forests. The grazing and soil compaction are tough on the northern species.

I guess the key word here is multiaged and sustainable. I suppose that they are plantations that are well established before the critters are allowed in, and they plan to regenerate the area artificially after harvest.
