Loggers cord? I think now I know

I always wondered what was the difference with the amount of wood between a regular cord of wood and what they called a loggers cord. It is measured the same 4x4x8. But a loggers cord of whole round 8 foot logs, after you cut and split it you end up with a lot more cords of wood split and stacked. And the price is still about the same per cord. So people think why not buy it already cut and split? Because you get way more wood buying the loggers cord. Not to mention all the fun of cutting and splitting. :cheers:
