Cut, split, haul, stack, repeat.

I guess I would have split about half of those logs one more time. Just MHO.

On the other hand, LOML has never split a log that I can remember. So, you got me beat.

When I had a stove I did split smaller. There's still plenty of wood in the piles which is smaller though.

Just got back from delivering 2 cords to a new customer. He showed me his stove that was burning very well and the wood he was feeding it. Every stick split down to kindling size. Stove was a Franklin type.

The main problem with my furnace it's made for wood or coal so it isn't air tight like a pure wood burner.
