I have the 36" mkIII and am curious if it's possible to purchase larger rails for it. I'd rather not have to purchase a completely new mill if I wanna get a larger grandberg.

Yes you can. Head over to granberg.com. You can get almost at size and I am sure they may do custom sizes if you were to ask. They are great to deal with from my experiences
