Hey guys, where do I find the model and or serial # on my Mac 3214. I have not been able to find it yet. Is it on the engine? I have not gotten to the engine yet. Still trying to get the chain brake assembly off. Finally found a diagram for that. Any info from you MAC gurus would be greatly appreciated.

I have long since given away the one that I had, but 3214 IS the model number and signifies 32 cc's and a 14" bar. Never checked mine for a serial number, if it is not external it may be under the air filer cover.

Please bear in mind that this is considered to be a disposable consumer grade saw and not many people here may have them.

Guido I resemble that !!

I happen to have one in Montgomery Wards dress.
It's my main felling saw.

The serial is on a decal that always falls off.

I'll check mine and see if it's anywhere else.


By the way Guido there's a cap on it's way..............

if that is the case and I can't get it fixed then I am only out $20. I only paid $60 for the 3 Mac's in my sig.
