Looks like there's a burgeoning market for modified Dolmar mufflers.

That's like buying an 08 Z28 camaro and not wanting more power... It would make no sense! more power = less time cutting in saw terms!

Mine just has a couple 3/8 holes drilled in it. Sounds great and has great power in the cut. Someday I will put ports on it, maybe.

Here's the job I did on my 5100. 5/8" hole, ground a washer to fit. Super easy, and I can replace the screen. Runs great, too.

LOL, how many Saleen's you got?

The cheaper models are way over priced, not many performance mods at all, just some ground effects and stickers. The supercharged 351s were the best made, looked good and ran the same.

I would like to have a 351 Saleen.

    Then trade it for a 08 ZO6!!!!

    tek9tim,

Looks nice, and more imortantly, simple. I was considering something similar and have access to a welder (and someone who can use it!). It looks you used screws, not welds. Do you think this will be an issue (other than aesthetically)?

    Did you change anything internally?

How much did you have to adjust the high speed idle?

Did you have to adjust past the limiter cap?

Did you use a tach or just your ear?

    Thanks!

    Adam
