there are some internal check valves that if too much air pressure hits them,, they quit working (Leak by) and then the carb ceases to function properly,,,,

It can ruin them,,,, doesnt always but has happened before,, Too much air and pressure,,,
smacks them around

Is there a way of fixing this or just get a new carb? And never do it again? Also how does one clean out the passages without using air? What do you guys do?

I use carb cleaner but i'm pretty sure that Lakeside mentioned not long ago that Stihl is now recommending brake cleaner.

I don't think the check valves are replaceable by us normal folks.
Stihl probably has some special tool.

It sux that so many of us learn the hard way.:dizzy:
