NEED ECHO HELP

I purchased an Echo carb tool back in 2010 from Baileys wasn't a big deal back then. The tip broke and now they will not sell it because of our friends at the EPA.

1 ECP 91059 WALBRO D STYLE ADJ SCREWDRIVER


It's the micro D for the Echo PB-700H and PB-500 blowers.

If someone can help me please PM, I know this is the chainsaw forum but I know more people visit this forum...

Cutoff wheel in a dremel does wonders. Doesn't take much to get a slotted head where you expect to find one.

That's how any odd **** gets done for me unless it's a rotary carb low mid needle then I go a different route

I made one. Slipped a thin tube over a small screwdriver and JB welded it on. Cut slots in the adj screws. The tube keeps the driver from slipping off due to vibration.

I bought that kit and it doesn't give you the micro D that they picture....they give you an extra of one of the other tools.

FWIW, you can buy jets from an early echo like a pb-600 or a shindaiwa that have slotted adj jets but that would mean everytime you get an echo pb-500 or 770 you have to buy two jets and get the old ones out. That's a pain in the ass. The tool is a proprietary tool that walbro makes. I have yet to see one of these aftermarkets tools work.

Local dealers are scared to death to sell one.

They also have ´pacman'. This one fit on echo's singe D. I also use it for them
