Ok the weatherman is saying 20s to low 30s for next Saturday the 27th
So it will be a great day to cut wood and Enjoy our saws and new found friendships. As well as do a good deed for a widow woman.
I would like to know How many are seriously planning on attending. So I can make sure to have enough food for dinner.(hope everyone is ok with beans and cornbread)Cooked over an open fire.
And how many are planning on bringing a Pickup truck and willing to haul wood to her house. It is a 20 minute drive to her house. We do not have to stack the wood Piling it is fine with her, she says she loves to stack wood.(ok)
Tony from Amicks Superstore has stepped up and offered some freebies for us to pass out to those attending.I would like to say Thanks in advance to Tony for this generous offer. I was hoping for a handful of New Dolmars, But I doubt it is going to happen.. J/K
    Thanks Eric Enk

I'll definitely be there and I anticipate that I'll be bringing the 026Pro, 7900, and 076Super.

I will be there with a couple of saws and the 084 CSM. No truck but I will bring a 6X12 trailer. It should be fun.

The area will be safe to leave things. sort of remote

Ok its behind my house. The wife will be here, and anyone is welcome to bring their stuff into my garage when we leave to be extra safe.
Make sure someone else brings a digital camera, I am afraid I might be to busy to get enough pics. And we most definately need pictures. We need to make this a Gathering worth referring to.
I want to make sure that your wife remembers it the next day.. I do make mean beans.

Gotcha covered there. I will be bringing the camera, tripod, and a bunch of batteries. Got some good pictures from our other GTGs, wouldn't dare leave the camera behind!

    I will be there.

Bringing a one wheel drive truck, so I will be limited in what I can get to, and the following saws:

    372 modded
    540 modded
    5100 brand spankin' new
and maybe the 401 if you have alot of small limbing.

I will not bring a camera since I consider that a complex electrical device and most do not have any form of an internal combustion engine.

    Should be a good time...

Brandon, Levi got back to me and we are going to meet him in South Bend at 7AM. I figure if we are on the road by 5, we should be there by 6:30, get the cap un-bolted and raised up off the bed so when Levi gets there its just a quick swap, exchange of cashola, and we are on our way.

I bought some RSC chain. I have never used anything but RM because I love to plow fields with my saw:rock:

Anxious to try the RS, bringing a few sharp RM's to compare. Can you grind an RM chain to an RS spec???????????
