I have the original fans out of my NorthStar fireplace, that I had the bearings replaced with better grade. (holds grease better and keeps the dust outta them) As an owner of this fireplace or the quad. knows, they get hot enough that the grease eventually boils out of them, and then they start making crazy noises. The knock-off models of these fans, which are a cheaper motor, (and some have plastic shrouds), are still around $140 each. I have 2 units, rebuilt, never used (sold the house), with the receipt showing the place who rebuilt the bearings. If you are interested let me know. Figuring out a price now. Thx DM
