I've gone to them and pretty much given up on Bailey's. Quicker shipping and better pricing from NWood, if you don't believe me go look up a Meteor piston for a Stihl MS440, $10 difference.

Same thing on the piston(s) and seals I just bought. The already sent me a tracking no. BTW, are they an AS sponsor?

When I ordered from Northwoodsaw, I didn't even think about a discount code, because the parts I ordred were priced so well. The shipping was even a fraction of what it was going to be from Bailey's.

    coupons

I had a few things to get from Sal today and while I was emailing back and forth I mentioned this discussion. What he agreed to do is to offer a 10% discount to anyone who accumulates $500 in annual sales. He said I was free to post this information for anyone to take advantage of.

From my personal experience, and speaking in general terms, it never hurts to ask for a discount no matter where or what you are shopping for. I ask on just about any internet order I place. I wouldn't order $5 and ask for a discount, but if you order in the hundreds of dollars, it certainly doesn't hurt to ask. Even if you don't get 10% off, you might get enough to amount to free shipping.

I have boughten from Sal for quite a few years. His part prices, shipping prices, customer service, and quick shipping are top notch imo.

Just ordered from Northwood 2 weeks ago...
The prices were so reasonable and the shipping rate so fair (even to Alaska!) that it's the first time this cheapskate has ever shrugged-off a coupon code box.
Glad I did business w/ them.

So I asked for a coupon code for my blog

Sal gave me a code for my blog. It's a $5 off of $50!

    Becoming A Handyman – Repair of a Stihl 028 – Part 1 » Together Mcclure

The blog is a work in progress, just my thoughts, things that I find are interesting, etc, The code is all the way at the end of the post.

My next post will be on the unpacking from Northwoodsaw.com

I don't know how long the code will be valid for but hey!

    Steve

I find the prices, shipping costs, and shipping time better from Northwood as well. Part of that's due to location. However, the selection is better at Baileys, and Grande Dog's customer service is second to none.
