Hey Modified Mark-any chance you worked in Whiting running a forklift at the Jacob's warehouse a couple of years ago??

Any Stihl folks going to be here and in need of anything shoot me a PM and I will see if I can help. Also have a BUNCH of NOS Dolmar parts but most is for like the 309 demo saws but sure lots of parts are interchangeable with the saws. New crankcases and most any other bit/piece. Just ask and I will try and help-

Getting closer. Any of these maybes turn into certainties? Need to get an idea of how much food to get.

Also, anyone who needs more specific directions, contact info or an address should PM Mark or I.

I'll throw out my e-mail address here just in case this site becomes less reliable for PMing:

Hey Gary / Guido... I am still hoping you can swing past Osgood and pick up a box of magazines for me.

Let me know if you need a drive up address for Joyce (Chainsaw Lady).

Thanks & Regards,

Mark

P.S. I just got home today and will be leaving again on Tuesday so I won't have the Solo 611 Twin along unless I bring it in pieces.

Thats too bad, I know you want to get that going.

On the brite side, I know there will be another Solo twin on the property that might be able to run. :rock2:

Went over to Chris's today to try to get a few things done for the GTG. Was going to mill some cant's and setup some logs.

Had to go get some boards to setup and try to use the beam buddy some. Got the boards put the beam buddy on a Husky 272 to try to flatten one side and the damn thing promptly slipped on the bar and buggered up the chain.

Then the 272 wouldn't restart. Coil died...

Needed a longer bar anyway so we grabbed his Efco 980. That my friends is a running son of a *****!! I think it needed a milling chain though....

Out of all the saws he has, he went and put a Stihl on the mill. I will say that a 090 does a good job on the mill. That is when the damn thing runs.. Not sure why it lost spark or why the gas was boiling in it but after pulling the points, filing them, reinstalled them, it ran again..

So as for now we got a whole 2 cant's milled. Hopefully we can get more done, but if not oh well. ..

We got some logs moved then called it a day. ..

Weather looks good for the week. Might be hot Saturday but thats better then the monsoon's we have been having around here. 20150705_113503 (Custom).jpg 20150705_115423 (Custom).jpg 20150705_122109 (Custom).jpg

I have a traffic update...

Anyone coming from the east and are heading west into Hebron on St Rt 8. Rt 8 is closed just as you get into Hebron. You can make a easy round about it by taking 500W which is just about 2 miles before you get to Hebron and go south on it.

Go as far as you can south on it and it will turn to the right and bring you to the stop sign at Rt 231 and Rt 2. Go straight through the stop sign and you will now be on Rt 2 and take it to Clay street and turn left.

Easy...
