I'm assuming that O&R was the parent company for Orline after reviewing both on Acres site. Can anyone confirm this for me? Found on craiglist a GR chainsaw...from the pictures it has to be an O&R. Pictures show a saw in particularly nice shape for age...thinkin I'm gonna have to ante up the 35 bucks to find out just how good of shape. Owner says saw runs and is very low hours.

People mistake the "O" for a "G" all the time becuse of the way it is cast as the logo.

Which style is it? The "top handle" looking design, or the funny mutant thing?

If it's really clean, it's well worth $35. Those little saws are neat and fun to work on. The only downside is that you make your carb diaphragms these days but it's not that hard.

That appears to be an Orline Mustang. I have the same saw in yellow. It's a great price if it is running. I'd snag it if I were you.

If it runs, it might be an amusing curiosity. But I believe that all the carb parts were proprietary on those saws. I've had a couple come through my garage, though I've never been able to get one to run properly.

If he wants to mail it to you, go for it. But if you have to drive across the state...

I have to agree...I'm more curious than anything. Trying to get him to ship it to me.
