Oregon 410 grinder recall

Hi all. I'm in Australia and bought myself an oregon 410 grinder about a month ago through my local still shop. I've just had a call last week from them to stop using it immediately and return for a recall. Apparently when the hinge is moved the spring has cut the electrical cord running through it and the case has become live.
The recall was issued last November and my stihl shop was still sent the grinder and then sold it to me 4 weeks ago and were only notified of the recall last week. If anyone has bought one lately maybe get your serial number and give your local shop a call

In theory that would affect every model of their's as the basic frame/base assembly is the same.

Yeah I guess so. Most of the models I have seen all have the cord entering where the grinder is hinged
