I know this has been brought up many times before. I'm looking for a replacement bar for my Poulan Pro 300 to replace the factory 22" bar. I have a much larger saw that I go to when it comes to big stuff and would rather have an 18" on the Poulan. I know finding a bar in 3/8 and with the appropriate mount might be a bit of a wild goose chase, where as .325 seems like there is a number of options. What is my best option here?

I think that's 62 dl in poulan. I have a 18 inch bar but it's 3/8 low pro with a semi chisel chain. I have a husky 18" in .325 in 72 dl same style chain. There's been plenty of posts about 3/8 low pro on a 3/8 drive sprocket. Don't know of this helps at all. Pretty much any poulan that came with an 18" bar in the past few years probably couldn't pull a 3/8 chain without modification.
