Want to Trade Poulan S6000 for Milling Saw

I recently purchased a Poulan S6000 for some light milling work but I have since been told it may be considered sacreligious to some Poulan and Dolmar guys to work this old beauty on a mill. So therefore, I would like to see if anyone would be interested in trading this saw for a proper milling saw. (Stihl 066/660, Stihl 088/880, Husqvarna 394/395XP, so on)

It is not a perfect saw. It was engraved by its original owner. It is also missing the original kill switch, felling dawgs, and choke rod. I still consider it in very good condition for its age.

its a nice gesture to keep that saw of the mill dyno....I think you will be much happier and productive with a 066 394 or similar vintage....good luck

It is good to keep the saw from the work of a mill but a larger saw would be better suited to milling

Get the 394/395 for sure. You are going to need some grunt for a bar that long on a mill and the outboard clutch is a plus.

I get a chuckle out of the inboard versus outboard clutch opinions. Each side thinks they are correct but in the end each has it's advanatge
