PoulanPro 475 ring?

    Can i use a ring outta a stihl 046 or another common 52mm ring on my OEM poulan pro 475 P/C? Its a mahle 52mm single ring setup.

    As long as the ring is the same thickness and dimension it shouldn't matter what it is designed to fit.

    Well, that and make sure the ring end is the same design. I've never seen any saw with anything other than the vertical pin style but you never know.

    I just don't have the original ring to compair it to is all...i took this saw apart as a youngster to see what it looked like inside and lost the ring!! 20years ago im just getting around to put it back 2geather now

    Your welcome, I wasn't sure if you had looked there or not. The 046 ring would probably work fine if the dimensions are right also.

    Ok yall answered that for me thanks...I had to shelf this project again anyways im taking off for the last week of elk season...look for my disassembled p_pro475 in the trading post these next comming decades
