I am starting to get requests to perform stump grinding paid by homeowners insurance. Can you folks enlighten me? Do I need a Word document? What do I need to know.

On most storm damage jobs i do, i grind the stump and charge the insurance company. I just itemize my invoices so the insurance can see the cost to remove the tree, and the cost to grind the stump. Sometimes they cover the cost of the stump grinding, sometimes they do not.
