    i have a heard a lot of talk about racing chain. what is the difference in angles and other incidentals from a standard chain?

    to start with i take all the cutters off and shave 0.15 off the inside off the cutter. then grind all the rivets down. by taking that off it lets it cut a narrower kerf and less drag on the wood. the filing depends on what type of wood you will cut. i cut mostly gum so i use a lot of angle with about 18 to 20 thousanths on the drags. thats the basics but there are lots more little things you can do. it takes me on average about 20 hours to build one.
