Do you suppose the throttle isn't opening the shut off valve far enough? Never thought of a zip tie...

Just use some thing that wold hold it wide open.

The reason the shut off valve is there is so the tank pressure won't empty out the oil at idle or post running.

Who needs a half pint of bar oil on the floor.[emoji34]

Got 'er working good... Well, at least now I get more than bubbles.

The throttle lever was all chewed up/wore out and wasn't opening the valve 100%. Easy fix. Thanks 67L36Driver!!
 
Throttle trigger?

Well, a base gasket delete is not happening, w/o the gasket, the exhaust port will be partly closed when fully open.
Blew that idea right out of the water...
It's probably better stock anyways.
Wishful thinking can be fun... :)
