As above, but I spray in to a small glass jar & apply with dabbing it on with a 1/4" paint brush reapplying were requiredNapa spray on gasket remover. But the over spray can eat paint.

Key word is small, it has to be razor sharp also to deal with the STUCK tight stuff.Small wood chisel seems to work well for me.
I seen a bozo,,put hills and valleys on a alum head,,and bolt it right on the block.. guess what happened 7 moths later?????leave the abrasives ,go with the kero or diesel soak ,seen way too many gasket surfaces butchered by those roloc discs
DAMN Scott....couldn't figure out how to post of them. I have one also,, i now NEVER use a gasket scraper like the old types!!! now I need the two smaller ones!!! where to get them from???I worked in an automotive machine shop for a long time and I've seen too many ruined gasket surfaces from scotch brite or bristle pads. Get yourself a Super Scraper, they are actually made just north of me in Cedar Rapids. The sharp carbide will take anything off, the key is to pull it across the surface when you get close to having all the gasket shaved off, pushing it can dig into the material if you're not careful.
